W: Water-Based cleaning agents or foam may be used. Use distilled water as tap water contains minerals that may cause fading.

Double Rubs**​

Double rub measurements are determined by an industry standard mechanized test called the Wyzenbeek Method. This test is a measurement of a fabric’s resistance to abrasion and wear.
  • Less than 3,000 DR = Best for curtains, drapes, and decorative pillows.
  • 3,000-9,000 DR = Best for a formal dining room that doesn’t see much use.
  • 9,000-15,000 DR = Residential furniture that will see regular use. Living or family room.
  • 15,000-30,000 DR= Minimum number of double rubs for commercial upholstery.
  • Over 30,000 DR = Suitable fabric for furniture in an airport, movie theater, restaurant or commercial facility with heavy traffic.
